EVERY NEW DAY, Potentially a NEW YOU
The New Year is a time of reflecting, creating goals and trying to make this new year better than the past. But how far do you really get with your new year’s resolutions? There are all different types of action forms, goal setting templates and creative ways to try to keep you on track.
But what if instead we look at each and every new day as simply a new opportunity for opportunity for growth?! Realize that it is never too late to begin today to make the changes you want to see. What if we understood that Each and every day is a new beginning!
If you decided to go “Back to the Future” and could redo parts of your life, what would you do? Since that is not possible, why not start today to make that “future you” a reality instead of just a dream?
I heard a phrase that I’ve never forgotten, “The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago; the second best time is today.” So in essence, isn’t it good to know that YOUR NEW YEAR can begin ANYTIME. It doesn’t have to start January 1. Even if you don’t start exercising until June, you can still reach your goal of losing some weight and getting fit by the end of the year. You will feel good about your efforts each and every time you work out. The first workout is usually the hardest, and after that one, you are usually rejuvenated, and say “Why did I think that was going to be so hard, when in reality it wasn’t?”
You still have time to make this the best year of your life…make the DECISION to just simply start TODAY. You can resolve to change your entire life beginning today. And if you don’t make it today, tomorrow brings a new opportunity to shine, just be forgiving of yourself for not doing it yesterday and begin. Let go of all that you don’t want any longer: anger, resentment, fear, sadness, disappointments and let’s get started in making that future that you’ve visualized into a reality, and begin living the life you’ve always dreamed of. Go!
